A cartridge identification system for firearm authentication

In this paper, one system for firearm authentication based on cartridge images is introduced. In the system, several kinds of features are extracted based on analyzing the marks of cartridges, and then they are integrated to make a final decision. Some test results are presented to illustrate the system's effect.
