MAC protocol based on T-MAC multi-hop reservation for short-latency wireless sensor network
Jijun Zhao, Xiang Sun · 2008
According to the problem of long latency which caused by periodical sleep of the MAC protocol for existing competitive neural network, the paper proposes a short-latency MAC protocol based on TMAC multi-hop reservation, called MR-MAC. The protocol books some nodes in the whole communication link to decrease or eliminate the problem of long latency which caused by the periodical sleep of the node. The analysis shows that under the precondition of maintaining the low energy consumption of the node, MR-MAC protocol will greatly decrease the whole network latency.
