Is Microprocessor Software Really A Problem?

Jack Duane Grimes · 2005

The likelihood of success associated with any software project has two main paramaters; the problem complexity and the experience level of the designer/implementers. These factors are important because the lowering costs of microprocessor and memory devices results in a large increase in the number of designs which incorporate these devices. In many cases, these designs are dominated by the cost of their software. The understanding of these two parameters is important to the successful management of the resulting software project.
