A performance comparison of different multi-input queueing ATM switches

We present a performance comparison of different multi-input queueing ATM switches that are implemented as virtual output queueing (VOQ) switches. We describe six scheduling algorithms and show their average time delay performance levels. Also, we point out the algorithms' hardware complexity.
