Relaxation Labeling Using Non-linear Polya Processes
Prakash Adiseshan, Tracy L. Faber · 2005
Relaxation Labeling (RL) processes are a class of iterative processes that use contextual information to reduce or eliminate ambiguity in the labeling or the interpretation of objects. There are many existing algorithms that fall under the category of probabilistic relaxation. In this paper, a new relaxation algorithm is given based on non-linear Polya processes. The algorithm was used to classify soft tissue types in brain Magnetic Resonance (MR) images.
