This presentation outlines the BUS. The BUS is the architecture that is the base of the SCADA/DMS system that is being developed by EFACEC and EDP: the GENESys system. The basic concepts of BUS are outlined including the components, the event bus, the push model, the data request protocol, contexts, database access, the meta-model, and the event history.
