We present a very efficient lattice reduction tool for algebraic lattices by using the matrix representation of units in number fields. This algorithm requires a careful study of the so-called “logarithmic lattice”. From this algorithm, very efficient suboptimal decoders can be derived on fast fading channels. 1.
