In this paper the virtual environment is considered as an informational space, populated by entities which interact with each other. The concepts of perception and action fields, which bounds the virtual environment’s entities, will be central in our discussion. More, the notion of informational link is introduced as a basis for inter-entities communication, and will represent the basis for an abstract multi-resolution approach. 1
