Data Mining at the Service of Space Operations

Anomaly modeling and characterization is a required feature for critical units on board our satellites. Data Mining is a way to implement such models based on historical events and associated data. Two cases have been recently analyzed and with data mining techniques modeled and validated. The paper describes the constructed models and provides a critical analysis of their results.
