Cochannel interference cancelling of constant envelope modulation schemes in cellular radio systems

This paper describes a novel receiver structure that enables the constant envelope modulated signals to be received in the presence of a dominant cochannel interferer in cellular mobile radio communication channels. The receiver only relies on the constant envelope property of the interfering signal and does not need any information about the interfering signal channel or timing. The average bit error rate of the proposed receiver is obtained by Monte Carlo simulation.
