TNS Listener IP Address Binding and IP=FIRST
Norbert Debes · Apress eBooks · 2009
On systems that have more than one network a dapter, the default behavior of the TNS Listener is to accept connections from any network. In Oracle 10 g and subsequent releases IP=FIRST may be used to restrict incoming connections to the network in which the host configured in listener.ora resides. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
