Encoding Information Identification on Direct Tool Marking

Directly marking tool encoding information in Data Matrix symbol is a good means to realize its effective inventory control and working process supervision in a digital workshop. How to quickly and correctly identify the information is the key of the tool lifecycle management. The paper puts forward a set of identification method on tool encoding information and has achieved it, and in detail explains several important realization steps in the identification process. All the research results help greatly to carry out the real-time management of tool manufacturing resources.
