Hot-wire smoke streams for visualization of air flow patterns

A simple electrical device can be used in wind tunnel work to produce smoke streams for visualizing air flow patterns. In contrast to other visualization techniques, the device produces non-toxic, non-corrosive, white smoke streams which can be seen and photographed easily.
