A Highly Integrated LSI For Nicam728 With Bi-CMOS Process

A new LSI for the NICAM728 (near-Instantaneously Companded Audio Multiplex at a rate of 728kbit/s[l]) has been developed. The LSI integrates almost the whole circuits to receive the NICAM stereo broadcasting. In this paper, we describe the LSI, stressing its features, functions and its advantages over the original IC set.
