Development Of Surface Acoustic Wave Filter Using One-port Resonators

This paper describes a ladder type filter for mobile communicntions,which uses SAW resonators (resonator type SAW filter) . The analysis and simulation of the resonator type SAW filter bases on lumped constant equivalent circuit model. We shows the elements value of the lumped constant equivalent circuit of a SAW resonator, and explains the design method of resonator type SAW I‘ilter with these elements value. The experimental results of trial manufacturing for CDMA 800 !J!dL band filter and for PCS 1900 MHz band filter for portable telephones are also described. Fairely good agreement between s imu la t ionand experimental results we1 e obtained.
