We propose a blind adaptive constant modulus algorithm (CMA) post-processing technique for a CDMA receiver, which is able to suppress the residual intersymbol interference (ISI) and multiple access interference (MAI) symbol-by-symbol. It can be easily applied to any conventional detector at the expense of a small amount of additional computations without changing the existing algorithm. The convergence problem of CDMA that a typical cost function contains multiple stationary points is considered, and a solution for the problem is proposed. Through computer simulations, it was shown that the proposed method has a stable convergence property and good BER performance.
