Phase observations of 20- and 60-khz signals received at different locations
Gary S. Parks · Journal of Geophysical Research Atmospheres · 1966
The purpose of this letter is to present phase records obtained by monitoring WWVL (20 khz) and WWVB (60 khz) at a number of receiving sites located between 1185 and 1515 km from the transmitters. Table 1 lists the various sites involved in the measurements, along with some of their important geographic parameters. The receiving equipment at Menlo Park was operated continuously, while data were obtained only for brief periods from the remote sites, where operation was incidental to other experiments. The data reported here were recorded during September and October 1964.
