Temporal Relevance Improvement Mechanism for Crawler Collection

A major component of a search engine from information retrieval point of view is crawler. It works at the back end and is busy throughout in downloading the documents and depositing them at the repository/collection maintained by the search engine. Relevance of the collection with the users' current topic of interest is a major concern. In this paper a method for improvement of temporal relevance of the collection has been developed which takes care of the users' current topic of interest by tracking the search queries supplied by them to a search engine.
