Compiling for Hierarchical Shared Memory Multiprocessors

Issues related ro cumpiling for shared memory multiprocessors with multilevel memory hierarchies are discussed. In particular, a method using simple and regular sections for parallelizing nested iterative loops with constant dependence distances is described.
