Eigensolutions for factorable matrices of special patterns

Abstract The method developed for eigensolution for matrices of special structures in Kaveh and Sayarinejad (Commun. Numer. Meth. Engng 2003; 19: 125–136) is extended to a more general special form known as Form III. Efficient methods are presented for evaluating the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of these matrices.
