Reflections acting efficiently on a building

We show how Radon transforms may be used to apply efficiently the class sum of reflections in the finite general linear group GL n (๐ฝ q ) to vectors in permutation modules arising from the action of GL n ( ๐ฝ q ) on the building of type A n โ1 (๐ฝ q ).
