On the duality of algebraic geometric codes with high degree places

Definitions for function type and residue type of algebraic geometric (AG) codes with high degree places, which are generalized constructions of conventional AG codes, are given. We show that the function type AG code is the dual code of the residue type AG code constructed by same divisors.
