Generating block line codes with spectrum nulls using multirate digital filters

Block line codes can be generated by using multirate digital filters. The power spectrum of these codes is null at certain frequencies. The multirate filter is described by a matrix. This matrix determines the frequencies where a null in the spectrum occurs. Several examples of block line codes, obtained in this way, are given.>
