Computational techniques for least-square design of recursive digital filters

Algorithms are presented for the high-speed computation of parameters generated from a recursive digital filter design based on Levy's method. Matrix equations are developed for the general iterative algorithm and high-speed solution methods are examined. The technique has been extended to the two-dimensional case.
