A VLSI architecture of SVC encoder for mobile system

In this paper, we present a VLSI model of scalable video coding system (SVC) encoder for mobile system. Key idea is a multi-layer SVC system using single group of common H.264 kernels that is shared across modulations for the whole SVC system.
