Multi-dimensional vessels extraction using crest lines

This paper presents a method to extract vessels from 3D angiograms using the image as an hypersurface. The approach consists in finding the geometrical characteristics of the image that define the vessel center-lines. Results obtained on synthetic data and on real angiograms are discussed.
