Design and Implementation of the Embedded Software Testing Platform for the Gun Fire Control System

Wei-jie Han, Hui Yan, Dong Zheng-hong · 2009

The embedded software testing platform can supply an automatic environment and operational toolkit for the testing of the gun fire control system. However, the current general-purpose testing technologies and facilities are not able to fulfill the present testing tasks. Considering the testing demands of the embedded software of the gun fire control system, both the methods for functional testing and performance evaluation and the correlative testing platform are designed and implemented by referring to the general-purpose testing technologies. The platform realizes the testing process by injecting data into and collecting results from the CAN bus, and supplies the necessary functions for the tester fully in modularization and meets the testing demands for the gun fire control system efficiently. This platform has been put into practice, and the practical application indicates that this platform has good pertinence and applicability.
