Servo control using digital signal processing [turrets]

The classical method for testing and calibrating turrets is to use a servo control system similar to an operational environment. Digital processing was used to address the differences between the operational and test environments. This paper describes some of the requirements, encountered problems and solutions found in testing and calibrating one particular airborne turret.
