Wavelet based multi-resolution algorithm for detection of mammographic microcalcification

The wavelet based texture analysis method is used to detect and segment microcalcification regions in mammographic images. Wavelet decomposition is used for characterizing the parameters to obtain variations in gray levels up to 2 by 2 pixels.
