A variable high-pass wave digital filter derived from an elliptic prototype network

Applying the same interpolation technique that has been successfully performed on a class of low-pass wave digital filters (WDFs) derived from elliptic reference filters, a similar class of high-pass WDFs can also achieve variable characteristics with the parameters required to calculate the multiplier coefficients interpolated by a cubic spline algorithm. Some details of the interface that are required to link the microcomputer to a distributed-arithmetio realization of the WDF are given.
