A batch-oriented network database management system

The network data model is an important database model in the management of information, but one that is often slighted in database design courses because the few network database management systems that are available are too expensive to purchase if their use is exclusively academic.This paper describes a project to design and implement a network database management system which is true to the CODASYL specification and which is to be used by students in a database design course.
