Our work focuses on lowering user overhead for collecting and organizing Web content through the use of automation and visualization. We discuss a framework that enables users to semi-automatically collect, view, and share personal Web content. Our approach allows a user to interactively select webpage elements of interest and automatically collect similar content. Further, we describe a technique for creating visual summaries of the collected information by combining user labeling with predefined layout templates. These summaries are interactive in nature and provide a variety of visual representations for the collected content. Finally, the summaries can be saved or sent to other users to continue the research at another place or time. 1.
