P‐54: An 8 ms Delay Real‐Time Image Transmission System for Remote Desktop

Abstract We've introduced the system achieved low delay (about 8 msec) and high image quality for both desktop images and motion pictures like mouse curser at SID 2006 and 2007. In this paper, we explained the improvement about large area motion picture quality without degradation of real‐time performance. The method can keep the low delay and is based on differential image between frames and tile‐independent frame skipping without feedback control loop. 3.1
