An agent-based approach for developing C/sup 4/I systems

Command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C/sup 4/I) systems are used to assist organizations in achieving their respective goals and objectives. Although organizations are becoming increasingly more dependent on C/sup 4/I systems, there is a lack of automated tools for carrying out the planning functions inherent in C/sup 4/I systems. The paper presents a framework for agent based C/sup 4/I systems. The paper presents an approach and issues for developing such C/sup 4/I systems.
