Simulation of an adaptive behavior mechanism in an expert decision-maker
Paul Morgan · IEEE Transactions on Systems Man and Cybernetics · 1993
A control theoretic model of adaptive decision-making is presented, and its application to the simulation of expert decision-makers is discussed. A cognitive work-load control model is introduced and its impact on decision-making behavior examined. Applications of the adaptive decision-making model have included analysis of command and control (C/sup 2/) organizations and simulation of the crew of high performance aircraft in complex and variable threat environments.>
