THIS is the second part of the special issue on Software Reliability. Part I was published in December 1985 and dealt with software reliability estimation, new modeling techniques, management issues, testing and verification, and fault-tolerant programs. Papers in this issue address software reliability models, hardware-software effects, fault-tolerant software mechanisms, experimental results on TV-version programming, and techniques for developing reliable software.
