Coding theorems on Shannon's cipher system with a general source

We analyze Shannon's (1949) cipher system with a general source. We completely determine the achievable rate region of a cryptogram and the key required for encryption of an output of sources with a one-point spectrum. An inner and an outer bound is given for the other sources.
