Multi-agent urban expressway control system based on generalized knowledge-based model

In this paper, the multi-agent urban expressway control system based on generalized knowledge-based model is put forward according to the characteristic of urban expressway. It is designed by adopting AI (artificial intelligence) technology, auto-control technology and generalized knowledge-based model, and its structure is analyzed. Its properties include among others self-study, adaptiveness, self-optimize, co-operation etc., which makes it suitable for timely response to incidents, reducing traffic accident, moderating traffic congestion, increasing the capacity of the whole network, enhancing the benefits of vehicle's operation and realizing the optimization of the whole control system.
