Conformance test results of wideband CDMA user equipment (UE) modem

Test results of a wideband CDMA (WCDMA) UE modem are presented. Various levels of verification were employed. Verification was initiated with a stand-alone test using test equipment which performs the functions of a base-station transceiver system (BTS). A point-to-point functional test between UE and BTS was the subsequent test step, and then a system-level test was launched to validate the system-level issues which can be found in the terminal conformance specification TS34.121.
