On biologically-inspired design of fault-tolerant digital systems
Parag K. Lala, K.K. Bondali · 2003
Biologically-inspired design may be a powerful and practical alternative to traditional approaches in designing digital systems. The term biologically-inspired encompasses a number of different approaches inspired by living organisms that are used to solve complex computation problems. This paper presents the basic concepts of living organisms that may be utilized to implement fault-tolerant digital systems. An FPGA architecture based on these concepts is proposed.
