Bandwidth efficiency and capacity estimation of a multi-band W-CDMA system with partial spectral overlap

The effect of partial spectral overlap on the capacity of a multi-band wideband W-CDMA system (MB-CDMA) is investigated. We evaluate the relative capacity improvements for an acceptable range of overlap attributed to both equally and unequally powered adjacent bands.
