Takesue, Naoya Naoya, Genda, Etsuo · International journal of Asia digital art and design · 2011

A method of computing photographic process of silver halide film is shown and discussed in this paper. The system creates and outputs a monochrome image through three steps of exposure, development, and printing. Output images created by this system and their characteristic curves under several conditions are shown. The technology and the culture of the silver halide photography can be left as an archive by developing this system. The original feature of this system is to output the image by simulating the chemical reaction that has happened in an actual film.
