Abstract A new holographic technique is utilized to obtain in vivo three dimensional photographic records. The development of a holographic endoscopic camera (endoholoscope or holocamera) provides a unique method of diagnosis of internal organs and tissues. A hologram of the larynx of an anesthetized dog shows details which could not be observed by indirect laryngoscopy.
