Investigation of Real-Time Forward-Backward Filter Structures

This paper describes the non-causal filtering process and introduces a new real-time non-causal reduced-phase digital filtering algorithm. An example of the operation of this filter is presented and its performance compared to causal and non-causal block processing techniques.
