On Complete Stability of Three-Cell CNNs with Opposite-Sign Templates

A new sufficient condition for three-cell cellular neural networks (CNN) with the opposite-sign template to be completely stable is presented in this paper. It is also shown that even though the self-coupling is greater than unity the state trajectory which never enters a total saturation region can exist.
