Ping He · 2008

Law enforcement agencies across the China have begun to on innovative knowledge management technologies to aid in the analysis of criminal information. This paper describes how have applied the design criteria of platform independence, stability, scalability, and an intuition graphical user interface to develop the intuition concept space (ICS). Results of user evaluations that have been conducted on both applications to study the impact of intuition mapping knowledge inversion (IMKI) on crime analysis. And analyze the intuition decision results on distinguishing different trends of each criminal category and find rules relating patterns in a time series and space state to other patterns, for the purpose of specifying the instructions of police human resources planning. The ICS application is currently being deployed at the Dalian Police Department and the IMKI is undergoing further modifications.
