Control chart for linguistic variables: A method based on the use of linguistic quantifiers

The paper presents a method for conducting the online control of a production process using control charts based on linguistic variables. The novelty of the method consists of the analysis of sample data without superimposing an arbitrary numerical conversion. An example application is also developed.
