Vertical Partitioning in Object Oriented Databases Using Intelligent Agents

Vertical partitioning is an important technique in which attributes of a relation assigned to partitions, is aimed at improving database performance. The complexity of object-oriented databases models due to subclass hierarchy and class composition hierarchy complicates the definition and representation of vertical partitioning of the classes. In this research paper, we propose a new algorithm for vertical partitioning in object oriented databases using intelligent agents based on attributes and methods. Key words:
