Operational spectrum effectiveness (OSE): management of adaptive wireless ensembles
Leo H. Jones · 2003
In the course of our continuing research into the operational nature of adaptive radio networks, we have successfully simulated the behavior of networks that are driven toward optimization of individual mission-specific utility, or OSE. In cases of three or more OSE-driven networks, we find that the pool of available spectrum resources must be at least passively managed in order to avoid chaotic behavior. We demonstrate a method to determine heuristic constraints on frequency, and spatial proximity for OSE adaptive radio networks.
