Use of a Magnetic Tape Cassette Recorder With an On-Line GC Data System
J. T. Frazer, Bohdan T. Guran · Journal of Chromatographic Science · 1971
Interfacing a magnetic tape cassette recorder with an on-line GC data system provides an economical means of extending the system capability. The hardware interface allows the cassette to function under control of the priority interrupt system in the computer. The software written allows storage of GC report data on cassette, and retrieval of that data for further processing by background programs. Use of the cassette to obtain summary reports of GC data, and as a means for storage and retrieval of system programs is described.
